This project, carried out as part of the Projects II course in the Data Science degree program, analyzes the job and economic opportunities for computer science students planning Erasmus exchanges and starting their careers abroad. The project develops a cost-of-living index, compares salaries in the IT sector, and studies the demand for digital skills in different countries.
Main Objective: To provide an analytical tool that helps students and professionals make informed decisions about international destinations, considering factors such as cost of living, salary and labor demand.
Relevance: The project has social, scientific, and business implications, helping to plan international mobility, contributing knowledge in labor economics, and offering key data for business recruitment strategies.
Results: Significant patterns were identified in the relationship between cost of living, salaries, and choice of Erasmus destinations, providing a solid basis for informed decisions about academic and professional mobility.
